New Classrooms
Construction of Classroom Block Extensions A & B at Wioso Senior High School. These extensions will be built above the existing Block A&B ground floor classrooms and offices and provide 11 new classrooms with additional rooms for counselling, staff and wash facilities. The ground floor was completed with the structural planning to allow extensions on the upper floor, but we will employ a structural engineer to oversee the safe planning for the extensions.

Sustainable Futures Centre
Over the next decade, AME intends to deepen its role as a rural education and pathways hub, helping students move from school into vocational training, employment and community leadership. Our central capital priority is to build a multi-purpose Sustainable Futures Centre, including accommodation, featuring: Spaces for music, creative arts, student counselling, staff workshops and practical vocational training (such as sewing reusable sanitary pads). Integrated practical learning environments that connect with our 14-acre working farm and sustainable enterprise projects. Dedicated accommodation to expand our school partnerships (we are currently building our first formal partnership with Alleyn’s school), gap-year placements, and volunteer exchange programmes for young people aged 16 to 25. Having on-site lodging would allow young people from partner schools and universities to travel to Ghana, experience the culture, learn, share skills, raise funds, and bring immense joy to our campus. Emergency accommodation for staff or visitors. Potential accommodation to host external groups when not in use by school volunteers, generating recurring earned income to support school running costs in the long term.
